Diplomatic Solutions Group is assembling a team of bilingual protocol hosts to support an international operation in Medellín from September 28 to October 1, 2026. We are looking for professionals with an excellent presentation, polished communication, sound judgment, punctuality and a strong service mindset to accompany international guests throughout their institutional and academic agenda.

Bilingual profiles required

The operation requires fifteen protocol hosts who live in Medellín or its metropolitan area. Candidates must be fully available throughout the four days and for the training and induction activities scheduled before the event.

Openings and language requirements

  • 11 Spanish–English bilingual professionals
  • 4 Spanish–Portuguese bilingual professionals
  • Recommended language level: upper B2 or C1
  • Residence in Medellín or its metropolitan area
  • Full availability from September 28 to October 1, 2026
  • Approximate working hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

What does a bilingual protocol host do?

Each team member will be assigned to a guest or group and must become familiar with their schedule, meeting points, timings and key contacts in advance. During the stay, the host will provide guidance, accompaniment and ongoing support, communicate with the coordination team and help resolve everyday requests with discretion and good judgment.

This is not a simultaneous translation or interpreting position. Language skills are a tool for facilitating the guest experience, explaining practical information and maintaining clear communication throughout transfers and institutional or academic activities.
